Day 0: 75 Hard Prep

A little over a year ago (documented here), I tried 75 Hard. I’m not about to say I completed it as written because I didn’t, but I did 75 days of eating better and moving a ton. The only actual thing I really cheated on was the water because I just felt like I was drowning trying to drink a gallon a day (I tried for about 70 oz a day instead by the end there). I lost some good weight and ended up the smallest I’ve been since I can remember. Since then, I’ve gone back to work, moved, traveled, and fell off the wagon hard.

I’m in a funk, but I’m down about 20 lbs from last year’s rebound without trying too hard. I’ve mostly been 16:8 intermittent fasting and trying to stay low-carb-ish, but I want to recommit to something. This blog has been stagnant forever because I was trying to keep it slightly professional before. I don’t care anymore when that’s not what I want to write about, and I just want to write again.

So, a few things. 75 Hard starts tomorrow, and I’ll be (lightly) journalling daily. I’m going to intersperse with picture posts of knitting and food. I’ll probably also be fucking around with the theme to make it something I actually like.
